- Varietal Composition:
Cabernet Sauvignon – Syrah – Merlot
- Vinification: Destemming and transfer to stainless steel tanks where alcoholic fermentation and extraction take place for 16 – 18 days at 21 ºC.
- Maturation: Cabernet Sauvignon stays in American oak for six months while for the Syrah and Merlot in stainless steel tanks. Then we create a blend of all three varieties, remaining for another three months in stainless steel tanks. After bottling, remains in the bottle for three more months.
- Organoleptic characteristics:
Bright deep ruby color with violet tinge. Intense and complex bouquet with notes of oak, combination of red ripe fruits, chocolate, tobacco and vanilla. Mouth balanced with rich tannins and pleasant fruity flavors accompanied by a sweetness and vivid acidity in the aftertaste.
It is harmoniously combined with varieties of semi-aged cheeses, cold cuts, sweet and sour sauces, smoked meats, finger food, chocolate-based sweets, nuts and fruits. It is also served as an aperitif.
